Hi, new and selling

I’m new here and I’m selling a 2000 16ft scamp with a/c and heat! It’s layout 4 with a full bathroom and new lvp flooring. How do I set up selling this?

Thanks

Here’s a link to the classifieds page associated with this site. It requires a separate log-in using the same credentials as here.
https://www.fiberglassclassifieds.com/

Have some clear pictures with good lighting ready to go. If you use your phone, I’d recommend taking all your pictures in standard vertical (portrait) orientation. Crop as needed. Otherwise, some pictures might end up sideways.

When using the drop-down menus for brand, model, location, etc.,, you may not see an exact match in the list. Just start typing.

You can also list on www.fiberglass-rv-4sale.com, which is not affiliated with this site, but it’s well-run by a member here. There are also a couple of Facebook groups just for Scamps (Scamp Travel Trailers and Scamp Classifieds). They’re more active with better exposure, but you’ll have to deal with the drama.

Late thought... The second site I linked archives old ads (see SOLD section). That's a good way to research recent prices of similar units. Of course you'll need to adjust for season (late winter through mid-summer is peak season for buying), location (coastal urban areas are higher), and condition. Remember with older ads, there was a significant post-COVID bubble in the resale market (2021-2022), followed by a moderate decline as things got back to normal (2023-2024). Like everything else, post-COVID prices remain 30-40% higher than before. Prices are listing prices, not actual selling price. There is no way to know what the final deal was. Sometimes you can gauge how long the unit was on the market, which gives clues.

.
Thanks for this, Jon - however, I recommend that phone photos be taken in landscape orientation, with the bottom of the screen to one’s right.

You are right, and my memory was not. Thanks for the catch.
