Hi - scamp owner here!

I've been lurking here for a while and have learned so much. I bought a 2005 Scamp 19 last summer. Only had it out for a few local trips due to underpowered TV. We really enjoy it and hope to upgrade to a bigger truck and see more country soon. In the meantime here is a pic of our home campsite - a nice place to have an adult beverage at the end of the day.

Rob,
Welcome to the group. I know what you mean on the "home camp". I got mine parked on the driveway next to my garage. I had the forsite to make my driveway extra wide so as to not block the garage door. I've had a number of "campouts" with my grand kids. Their parents have a large 5th wheel but they like bunking in my FG when they visit.
Donna, can't you park your unit at home? Makes me wonder how many of us have to rent parking space elsewhere? I feel lucky to have all the space I got. In winter I will move mine off the driveway to the West side of my garage on the grass after it goes dormant for winter.

Gene, my Scamp is parked next to my stick built home... on an asphalt pad under a 18'x25' carport. BUT... it doesn't look anything like Rob's home camp! (really green with envy here)

Ok, good at least it's at home. I have a 200' wide lot 80' deep. Plenty of grass if I want a "camp" site but only park there for the winter when the grass is dormant. I guess I could for a day or two though. I wish I had a roof over it like you though. My garage is big enough for the camper and two vehicles but too much junk in the way. Working on that.

oooh, but.. stilll... look at Rob's "home camp... here is a pic of our home campsite - a nice place to have an adult beverage at the end of the day" I'd have to pay to have such a great place to park my trailer. Rob rules!
