Hi we are back

We had a scamp 13 but it was too small for us, so we got an rpod but I had the bug for an egg, low and behold we came across a tundra then we saw casita with a discount. So we ordered a 17 LD in February then drove to rice from ny in May and came back taking the scenic route. Tomorrow we leave for Yellowstone then glacier, I still have that rpod sitting there waiting to be sold. At long last we found the one for us.

Happy trails

Okay... gotta ask. I do understand the "egg culture," but WHY I mean REALLY WHY is owning an egg so important? We've got lots of folks who own R-PODS that want to join this community and a bunch of us try to move them along to forums better suited to THAT build.

So... WHY did you feel the need to buy an egg.... and the R-POD is up for sale?

I looked at an R-POD before I bought a Casita and decided the 78 inch inside height only applied to the 4x6 ft center section of the trailer. Not good if you're 6 ft or over.

Unhappy Sorry for the late reply

I always wanted a Casita, I didn't want to buy a different TV to pull it. I feel that for the money the Casita has more to offer than its competition. Of course there are things the company is still stuck in the past on but they are usually easily fixed, changed or just lived with. Like me. We got the Liberty 17 and changed the bed to a full timer cutting out the center so that a table could be there and to make it easier to get up out of bed.

I am sure the RPOD will not last as long as a Fiberglass unit and it feels like your pulling a parachute behind you.

Our trip to Yellowstone was cut short by family matters and we had to turn around at devils tower and head back to NY. . We will have to try again another time.

Cheers
