Smile Hi, we are Debbie and Kenny,

We just purchased a 1974 Apache ramada hard side popup camper. We are excited about fixing it up and getting it ready to travel. We are planning a 4-6wk journey beginning in June next year. We are pretty much starting from scratch. The camper is in good condition, but no stove, has an ice box...etc. as of June we will both be retired. Nice to join this group.

Hi and Welcome to the group.

Although there are a lot of common areas between your trailer and the molded fiberglass trailers in this group, you may also want to also join a group with a specific agenda for the very fine Apache "Solid State" pop-ups.

If you Google "apache pop up trailer users group" you will get links to two Apache specific groups as well as links to a couple of nice Youtube videos about your specific model.

Good luck with you new project

Welcome to the forum. You will find lots of friendly, knowledgeable folks here who can help you with many of the things you need to work on. However, when it comes to structural issues on the shell or frame, or specifics of wiring and plumbing and such, you may get more useful information on www.apachepopups.net. I was not able to get into the site using the straight URL. It just came up blank. I was able to get in using apachepopups.net - Index.

The posts are current, so they must be having technical issues with the home page.

Good luck with your renovation, and welcome to retirement.

Can you tell me what day it is...............Saturday? Again??
