Hello everyone, we are new to the forum!! We have however been reading the posts for some time now and have just figured out how to register and log on. I must say that I find this forum very, very informitive as well as entertaining. Let us introduce ourselves, we are Janine and Jim from Southern ON. We currently own a 1991 Scamp, and we love it!!! We used to own a 1976 Trillium, however we thought we needed "bigger and better" so ..............we sold that to good friends that we camp with. Boy!!! was that a mistake. We really missed the Fiberglass unit. Everytime we camped with our friends we were green with envy and decided that we would go back to a fiberglass unit and we did. We purchased our curret scamp in 1995 and love it, love it, love it!! We have done a few renovations.........air conditioning, doggie kennel (we have two small dogs), fixed up the bunk beds (for the kids-2 girls) and new curtains of course. We will post pics when we figure out how to. Glad to be part of this forum. Oh, by the way, will anyone here be at the Emily Park Bolerama in June of this year??

Welcome!

I must say that it seemed to take me forever to figure out how to post pictures, But I did it! Then, my computer wore out, and I had to replace it! The new computer had a new upgraded operating system that did not support my ancient digital camera! So I got a new camera for Christmas, but it's software is different from the old stuff that I had finally become comfortable using, so I had to start the learning curve all over again!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that we're all glad that you're here!

(You'll get the hang of it pretty soon...)

Welcome!

Is your Scamp a 13 or a 16fter?

Whoops! Forgot that part. We have a 16ft Scamp. We have tried to put up a photo but again, we can not seem to figure it out. Soon we hope. We think we have to make our photo smaller some how. We are not so computer savy, a little more playing around and we may have some progress.

Janine & Jim,
Welcome to the forum We all enjoy hearing from people who have a different view point. Refreshing ideas help everyone solve their FGRV problems or inspire new modifications. Most of us end up seeking help with our problems here so we can take advantage of the collective "think tank".

We wouldn't miss Emily. You will have a great time. Lots of people from the forum will be there. Where abouts in Southern Ontario are you?

Whoops again, we reread our first entry and havenoticed that we imputed the year we bought our scamp in wrong it was actually 2005. Sorry 'bout that all.
Thank you for all of your welcoming comments.
Barbara, we are from Cambridge ON. We also can not wait for Emily, we are actually travelling with friends ( the ones who bought our Trillium) we will be at site 230 and friends Dan and Carrie from Hamilton will be close by us for the 7th through to the 9th. We hope to meet lots of new people and their FGRV's.
