Hi, we're Charlie and Renee
Hello all - we're Charlie & Renée from the Metro Vancouver, BC area. We've been camping for 30 years using a Danish designed Combi-Camp tent trailer for Mom, Dad and the girls, and a tent for the boys, and a large 30'x50' tarp to cover the campsite during wet weather. All of our tarp set up assistants have grown up and moved out, except one 12 year old.
We've looked forward to the day we could purchase a 'real' trailer and that day has arrived! This is our 30th wedding anniversary year and we've just purchased a 1976 boler, 'Sunny' to enhance the next 30 + years of camping and marriage!

Welcome to the group, glad to have you here. I think I can say that you can get a smaller tarp now .

Welcome Renee & Charlie to the group. We just purchased our Boler in November and waiting anxiously for the camping season to start. Got tired of planning trips around the weather and how many tarps to bring. Also living in Vancouver so maybe run into you camping sometime in one of our beautiful campgrounds.

Finally got some inside pix to share:
We've moved all the cushions indoors for now. There's going to be a few hours of scrubbing ahead for starters.

Hi, we're Charlie and Renee
I think it will clean up very nicely!
Lots of folks take a cruise or some such thing for an anniversary, over and done with. You have a gift that will continue to enrich your marriage for the next 30 years!

Looks in very nice shape, nothing that a bit of elbow grease can't cure

Wow, your Boler looks just like our 1976 Boler! We bought it in Richmond 2 weeks ago and today was the first scrubbing day...there was a lot of elbow grease going into it and a lot more still to go. We'll post pics as we progress!

How cool is that! I still have too much other stuff to complete before I'm 'allowed' to start scrubbing. Hope we end up in the same campground someday.

So here's an scrubbing progress pic to show what can be done with elbow grease; Vim with bleach, scrub tools and lots of rinse water.

Hard work and diligence really pays off in a very nice finished product AND a real cense of accomplishment. Well done.
