Hi, we're new owners

We just bought a little Casita Patriot Deluxe 2006 yesterday. We're still not used to seeing it in our driveway. In pretty decent shape. We hope to have some fun with it.

Welcome, and congratulations on the new Casita Patriot! We're up in the White Mountains... I'll keep my eyes peeled for a small Casita.

Happy travels!

Jon, are you in the White Mountains of New Hampshire?
I just picked up a 91 Casita Freedom Deluxe.
Are you looking to buy?
I can never get pictures to post on this site but could send them Via E-mail.

Hi B, nice trailer. You may want to drop the receiver some. Might be a little lite on the tongue.
Welcome

It was being towed for us by a friend. So, it's not my setup. Thanks.

Has TV but no air. Will you be adding AC? If not portable AC units are on the market and work well.

It does have a TV, which we will most likely not use. It does have A/C. It is on the inside of the TT right below the closet on the right hand side as you enter the door. It works well too. It does not have a heater though. Could need to get something portable for cold weather camping but not an immediate need. It also has two propane tanks, and a factory solar setup that appears to be working fine. But good to know about the portable A/C units. Thanks.

Check out the Wave propane heater.

Amazon:

Olympian Wave 3 LP Portable Gas Catalytic Heater by Camco (3000 BTU )- Can Warm Up to 130 Square Feet of Space

They come in different sizes. Many people swear by them. Some people say you can use in an enclosed space, but please don't, keep a window open.

We use an electric space heater when hooked up to a camp site with electricity.

Our furnace works well but is noisy.
