Howdy

Hello folks, I am a proud owner of a 1982 Burro. She is gutted and is a fixer/upper for sure. This is my first camper and I'm excited I found this site.

Hello. This IS a great forum. Good people. Say, I just looked at a fixer-upper Burro in Windsor Locks yesterday. It was priced right, but I am too old and decrepit to do the work, especially the floor replacement. If you are young and strong and have good mechanical/fiberglass skills you should end up with a little gem. Best of luck. BTW I am in South Windsor.

If we were home in NY instead of wintering in the south I'd check out that Burro for our daughter. Windsor Locks is an hour or so from us.

LOL too funny that is the one I purchased. Yes I have some repairs to do with the floor but it seems that's pretty common. I plan on taking my time unless the poster from NY takes it off my hands lol!!

Wowser ! It's a small world after all. VERY common with a Burro of that vintage. Take your time and enjoy the ride. There are comprehensive posts about floor repair/replacement. I think folks on the forum would love to see/hear about your progress. BTW I'm surprised Donna has not stepped up to extend her usual hearty "Welcome!" Welcome ! All the best.

I think we are all trying to escape.

Welcome, Rumpledump. I hope you can get the Burro whipped into shape quickly and start camping soon.
