Hunter 1 compact
Just found ourselves a new camper today. We cant wait to work on it soon. Pretty good conditionbut needs some new cushions, curtains, cleaning, front window and a good buff job. Good thing we still have snow in MN. It will give us some time to fix it up.

Nice find. It sure looks to be in nice shape.
Have fun both camping and restoring.

Stove in Compact Trailer
Hello everyone. I have a Compact II trailer which I have owned for 20 years. I am now going through the trailer and doing some upgrades. I want to refurbish the stove/oven which is in the trailer, but I don't have any information on it and all the stickers are unreadable. I be leave the stove is the original which was installed at the factory. I cannot even find the manufacturer. It is a three burner with attached oven. The color is harvest gold which matches the refrigerator. Does anyone know anything about this stove, mfg, model, etc, or where I can find a manual for it. Any help would me much appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Hi Meg. I really like your camper. Could you tell me please what year it is?

Those stoves are no longer being made. One of those older brands was Elixir. But you would have to find one that is being salvaged from an old trailer if you wanted to get exact match parts for it. They did get used in quite a few makes of the vintage travel trailers. Stove tops were always bought from the RV industry sources rather than being exclusively made for particular brands of RVs.
If you are having trouble with it take it to an appliance repair store. They should be able to tune it up so the jets work but they won't have exact match parts.

So far we have redone the curtains, made new cushions, took the canvas/screen down cleaned and taped up some holes. We have someone whos making us a new one but we are on a wait list. Painted some of the frame, painted the wheels and cleaned off the moons. Did do more buffing and basically just cleaned out the whole thing. Here is a picture of Bleu with our tow vehicle 1975 Pontiac Lemans Station Wagon Fifi. Will update more pictures soon.
