I got me a Burro

Hello,

I've been lurking around the sites for awhile trying to find a good used 13' camper, and finally got lucky. A 1980 Burro in pretty decent condition went on the boards lone day last week about 4:00 in the a.m. and I was the first to respond. It was in Illinois and i am in Tennessee. After talking to the seller about 10:00 that night I decided to take a chance on it. I drove from Oak Ridge, TN to Chicago the next a.m. It was worth the trip, so I made the deal, hitched it up and headed south. From TN to IL and back was about 24 hours including a nap in my new-to-me Burro in lower KY. It handled great, but those Indiana Interstates are rough! I'm looking forward to getting it cleaned up, redecorated, upgraded, but it is usable right now. I am pretty pumped about it. I am now trying to get educated on electric upgrades (chargers/inverters/low-voltage), flooring options, and gel-coat cleaning.

Looking forward to possible shake-down trips to Nashville this month and the Florida Panhandle next month. We'll see.
