I'm Jim....

The wife and I just upgraded from out tent to this trailer. New to the travel trailer world. Any advice would be helpful.

Already used it once, only a few other things I need for our 8 day trip in July to Unicoi in Helen, Ga

In case you hadn't noticed, this is a group site for owners and aficionados of "Molded Fiberglass Trailers", most of which are in the13-21 foot range with only a few larger. You might find more peers on the group irv2.com.

BTW: At least in our world, how on earth can they include the term "Lite" in that trailers name, and what's a Unicoi? ???? LOLOLOL

Yes many of our trailers are the size of a slide-out on the "big rigs"

Hi, Jim, welcome to Fiberglass RV. Because this group is focused on molded fiberglass campers, we might not have answers for some of your questions. There are more of us that are 13-16foot owners than anything else. So we probably don't have half of the bells and whistles that your trailer does
I did a quick search online and found RV.net which had several mentions of Lacrosse trailers, as well as umpteen threads about all sorts of coolio camping discussions.
RV.Net Open Roads Forum: New Topics

Despite the size or model of trailer, we all enjoy the relaxation and fun that camping brings us. Have a great time with your new camper!

Come on Bob......don't you know anything? a Unicoi is a fictional animal sometimes spotted in the woods of Northern Georgia. Though I have never seen one myself, I am told by those who claim to have seen one that it actually looks like a 30 year old "stickie" with a single horn protruding from its roof near the front of its relatively square head.

All kidding aside, Unicoi is a great state park in a great part of Georgia. Many great places to camp. My favorite is Trackrock, south of Blairsville.

Probably 70% of advice offered here is applicable across Travel Trailer boundary lines. Think electrical, plumbing, dumping, winterizing, towing, camping, etc, etc, and the folks here are a good bunch. So, welcome!

Golly, Then I must be completely incorrect in thinking that this is what the owners intended this site to be when it was created; from the Home Page:

"Welcome to FiberglassRV.com your Molded Lightweight Fiberglass Travel Trailer RV website! This website is intended as a free resource for those who are looking for, or who own, molded fiberglass travel trailers."

In reality maybe 30% of our interests and post might share something in common with the 30'+ sticky marketplace and, as Moderator Pam posted, there are many sites better suited to fill those needs.

Maybe these people will see the light and one day become bona fide members of the FGRV tribe. If their questions do not get answered here, they should keep looking elsewhere, of course.

...who are looking for, or who own,...

For sure Jim is welcome. He has the Nissan Altima and when he sees "the light" weight of a glass egg he will have a great TV for it.

PS... Jim, we tow with an Infinit with the same V6 as your Altima.

I really don't think anyone means to be rude because we all do enjoy the outdoors and the camping experience. But in fact we are a FGRV site. For instance my last sticky was made by Cruiser. And I joined the Cruiser RV Forum. I think some people just see RV Forum and figure that all campers belong. I know I'm just babbling but just was trying to make a point without making Someone that just got into camping understand without thinking FG forum members were rude. Good luck on your camping experience and finding a forum that fits your unit.

I do have a fiberglass trailer. I have been a member here for awhile and post occasionally. I do think we should think before we post. I have never met a rude camper in person BUT I sometimes find the opposite here. I am not saying this to offend anyone, just saying why be sarcastic....
