Hello folks!

I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to your forum. I have been reading your posts for the last few days and can tell you are a group of adventurers like myself and my wife. We have been happily married for 26 years with two sons and love adventure together. We motorcycle, fish, boat, camp, travel, hike, like red wine, etc...you get the idea!

Again, nice to meet all you fine folks and look forward to swapping tales with you.

My wife Margarita and I just completed a 6,000 mile motorcycle road trip one week ago from Escondido, California up the Pacific coast through British Columbia then toured Idaho, Montana (6 days + fly fishing), Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and then home. We hit 1,200 miles of rain, thunderstorms, hail, cold, hot...all with smiles on our faces. Actually we thought we were pretty extreme adventurists until we saw numerous bicyclist campers that were doing what we did but on bicycles...they are truly the most extreme!

While were were out riding it was very difficult to change into and out of our fishing gear (waders, boots, vests, etc) and I thought there must be a better way. We'll I saw a small fiberglass trailer in Wyoming and thought that would be perfect for most of the road trips we like (not always on a motorcycle). Since we returned I found your website and have been reading your posts and looking with interest at a Casita Spirit or something comparable for our trips. We plan to tow it with our V6 Honda Pilot 4WD rated at 4,500 lbs towing.

Welcome to the group!! What an amazing trip that must have been on the motorcycle. There's a section on this site that is devoted to hobbies, would be a great place to post some photos of yours. Good luck on the search. .....and I love fish tacos!!

Welcome. Fish tacos are among my favorite foods!

I too caught the bug on the road, doing a lot of car camping last year. Saw a Casita for sale and got to thinking. Months later I had my Scamp.

This community is awesome, so much help and good company!
