Long time lurker first time poster

My wife and I are interested in seeing a 16’ or 17’ trailer. We are thinking a layout with a full bed and bunk bed options. Anybody have anything in SW Washington state that would be willing to share? We would like to purchase something in the next year but would really like to see something in person.

Thanks,
Tim

Best way to see lots of trailers is to visit a rally. It's OK to tent, stay in a nearby motel, or just a day trip. Check the calendar for one that works for you.

We made the mistake of doing this backwards. We bought our Casita first, then went to a rally. At the rally, we toured an Escape 19 and realized the Escape was a much better fit for us. Fortunately, we are not tow vehicle limited, so no problem towing either one of them.

Maryhill SP in May is a good one. May be very informal this year given Covid.

Contact Bigfoot, Casita, Escape, Oliver, Scamp HQs directly. Since those brands do NOT sell through dealers, they generally have a database of owners who have agreed to "show" their "egg". If you place an order after such a viewing, the owner gets a "spiff" ($$$). Some companies may facilitate owners who simply want to sell their "egg". Be CAREFUL on ANY Craigslist type of offer. They usually WON'T be "local" and the "seller" is just trying to scam you for as much money as possible.

A while back, there were a couple of families in Washington that were debating between an Escape 17B and a Scamp 16 Deluxe. You might look at this thread and see if you can PM (private message) them?

Good luck with your search and decisions!
