My first mentor told me that 'having fun' was the purpose of life, referencing that work should be fun and if it's not find another career.

It's the little pleasant surprises that make the big difference. All these unknown places located in the out of the 'traditional' way are most interesting. It's part of the reason we only cover 20 miles some days.
