Looking for 16'

Hello, I am in Missoula, Montana and am looking for a Scamp, specifically, or a similar type 16' lightweight trailer. Trailers located in Montana, Idaho, or Washington. Even if you are not selling, I would like to see the inside of a Scamp - would be very difficult for me to make it to their factory. Thank you for any responses. Suzy

If you check their websites, Scamp and Casita might have a referral program where owners agree to show their trailers, and find units in your area to see. I know Escape trailers does this -- I own one, and have shown it multiple times. Escape makes a 17',and you may be able to find a used one of those. BTW, Escape isn't that far from you; they're in Chilliwack, BC.

Hi Suzy! Welcome to the bestest (is that a word?) forum on the web for all molded trailers! You'll find lots of kind and helpful people here.

Scamp makes a very nice trailer... I own one But, there are a number of nice molded trailers. What specifically are looking for when it comes to layout, number of beds, budget or tow maximums that we can help you with? You might be surprised at what other brands you should consider.

Welcome! We are very new Scamp owners and so far love it and love this forum! We are not selling our 16' Scamp but may be taking a trip through your area this summer if you wanted to check out our (vintage) model. Hopefully you will find one by then though so you can get out Scamping! I agree with Donna...there are so many models to choose from. We had no idea when we bought ours what was available!

Hi Suzy,
I currently own a 99 Scamp 16' with the side dinette and front bathroom. I'm located in Boise, Idaho if you are in the area I'd be glad to show it to you. I also if had right offer would consider selling. Thanks.

John

I'm in the early stages of shopping for a similar unit to what you folks want. I'll pass on any findings in your region.

I have a 13' Scamp and love it. But would certainly consider other options. I think there may be more 17' Casitas than the 16' Scamps. Seems Scamps tend to be 13'er more. Or that may just be a mistaken impression on my part! If a Scamp would work, a Casita probably would too. Close cousins.

Good luck!

There is currently a very nice 16' 2007 delux for sale in Bozeman.
