Looking for some advice re: awnings

Hi! I'm Denise, in Kamloops, BC. I've been a lurker on and off for the past year or two but finally joined up today. I have a 13 ft Trillium (1974), have had it for 4 years. I had an old-style bag awning but I lost it last month. The awning rail looks like it got bent at the rear end (I suspect in some big gusts of wind that came up while the awning was up), and it opened up enough to allow the bag to slide out somewhere between Quesnel and Hanceville, BC (in case anyone found one on the highway?)

So I'm wondering what advice folks have for replacing my awning? I've been looking at the bag awnings on the Interwest Sports website -- does anyone have experience with those? Or, does anyone in BC know where I could find something like that more locally?

Thanks!
Denise

Hi Denise, welcome to FiberglassRV. Lots of Trillium owners here and lots of bag awning users as well. Someone will be along shortly with some suggestions.

Hi, Denise - echoing what Donna said: welcome to FiberglassRV.com

You might try posting your question in our Problem Solving area - there are some of the tech types who don't give a look at the welcome wagon. I know there are folks among our members who can give you some advice!
