New 71 Campster owner

We are fairly new to the Campster world and starting to update some old tired parts. I have looked through some of the forums but haven't found anything on the hardware that raises the pop-up, just canvas repair. If anyone knows where to find this hardware it would be much appreciated?
My wife works remote and I am an adventure photographer, so we are really hoping to put the Campster to the test in the next few years.

Hi Corey and welcome to the world of Campsters and the forum. I have found two potential sources for poptop parts when searching for the rubber molding on the poptop and they are #1 a site called jbugs they have parts for vw camper vans and #2 sportsmobile they do full size van camper and off road conversions that include installing a poptop section in the roof of a standard van. The pictures in their brochure appear to show a mechanism similar to our campster pop top. Please post whether or not these two sources have what you need so the rest of the Campster crowd can be appraised as to the usefulness of these sources. Lee

Hi Cory, welcome to the group, Pop-Up top Division.... LOL

If your top lift supports look anything like the ones on my Hunter Compact-II the sliding parts are off-the-shelf heavy duty drawer slides available at most large hardware stores. Below is a pic.

The edging I use is standard "Knock-On" edging trim, available at automotive upholstery supply houses. It can be had with the sealing tube on the sides or top edge. You order by the foot and based on the thickness of the material you are using it on. Places like J&J Auto Fabrics in Rialto, CA will send small samples on request. (jjautofabrics.com)
