Well, we move fast! Picked up an 85 burro today. Some cosmetic stuff I want to fix, but it doesn't seem like there's anything too major (fingers crossed!). Pics to come when we get home tomorrow. Here's hoping we have an uneventful drive home!

Welcome aboard, Mary...this is a great website, with the largest collection of information and expertise about fiberglass 'Eggs' that exists. The great thing about the Eggs is that fiberglass lasts a long, long time given even minimal care; everything else can be fixed. If you've got a question, it's likely that several people will reply with answers and alternatives - if you've got a problem, someone here's solved it. Very friendly folks who very helpful - and the moderators, while almost invisible, do a great job and deserve a hat tip...
Love the look of the Burros and UHauls - there's something very 'spacepod' about that front window and the sleek white rounded shape. Makes the Trillium look like a slightly mossy brick on wheels...lol...Enjoy...

Hey! I forgot that I had saved the pictures from the Craigslist ad, so I'm going to see if I can figure out how to post them. So I didn't take these pics, and it hasn't been cleaned it up at all or anything, but here it is!

Looks great. I love the little Burros - they are close cousins to the UHauls. I still don't understand the function of some of the FG molding behind the stove that they have in common, but it shows the common DNA.

Congrats on your "new" Burro. We had a '78 and loved it! Now we have its bigger cousin, the UHaul VT. Have fun camping!

Thanks! We had a great drive home, no problems at all over the Siskiyous. The new tires did make the burro seem a little more bouncy, I'm guessing it was just the full tire pressure.
Dh just signed up for the forum, too, as Just Henry, so he can get some helpful tips from you all, as well!
