Of course you are welcome here! T@b’s are nice trailers, we’ve looked at the 400 and like many things about it. It’s mostly fiberglass trailer discussion but lots of general RV and camping issues as well.

Thank you. We have been scanning the threads and like that many are small trailer oriented. And it seems many of us are pulling with an SUV. We are experienced towers but the last while has been mostly motorhomes so lots to catch up on.

Happy trails all.

John,

I sold my Oliver LE2 in 2018 and have not had a molded fiberglass trailer since. Had a Black Series for a while and now an Imperial Xplore X22 from Wisconsin. It's fiberglass, but not molded fiberglass. I'm glad to say I haven't been asked to leave this site yet, and there are a lot of things to talk about, besides molded fiberglass, that are common to every kind of trailer. Glad you joined the fun!

Talking Non-FG trailers

I'm one of those outlaw members on this site. (Gasp) I have a 30' fiver, aluminum framing w/fiber glass sides. In other words a stickee. (Gasp, Gasp) I've been interested in FG's but read and post on this site because as an old RV repairman I like to help out if I can. After all, you peel the skins off the problems are all pretty much the same. Refridge, sink, stove, furnace and most other things are all by the same manufacturers. So from one non-FGer to another. Welcome, there is a world of info on this site. P.S. They haven't kicked me off...yet!

LOL . Nice to hear we are not alone. Wow, with your experience you are probably a popular guy here. . We have been RVing about 30 years ish and learned a lot the hard way. We actually full timed for a little while after our military careers and gained lots of knowledge that way. Hopefully we have another 20 years of RVing in us, although that would put us at eighty...so we’ll see.

Happy trails.

You guys remind me of this old number from Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks, "How Can I Miss You When You Won't Go Away"!!!

Quote:
I've talked to your mother and I've talked to your dad
They say they've tried but it's all in vain
I've begged and I've pleaded, I even got mad
Now we must face it, you give me a pain

How can I miss you when you won't go away?
Keep telling you day after day
But you won't listen, you always stay and stay
How can I miss you when you won't go away?
But, Travellers John, hang around, like they say. Most of the folks here are pretty nice with the possible exception of a few disruptive characters like me.

Finally getting around to posting a picture of our little house on wheels. So tiny compared to our old rig. So much easier to get into all the places we have been passing for 18 years.

Cheers.
