New Burro Owner

I am a new burro owner. A 1999 17' Widebody.Have enjoyed this site as there are many good ideas.I have downsized the trailers I have owned over the years.Tow vehicle is a Ford F-150 with a 5.4L.I have replaced Burro water lines with 1/2" Pex tubing and fittings.I have replaced rims and tires to Size 15" ST205/75R15.I wanted more trailer to ground clearance. Thanks for the useful ideas.

looks like a nice one! I had a 99 wide body for a very long time, even full timed in it. To date, it has been my favorite rig and I wish I still had it.

I too, changed the wheels and tires. That was a good move.

Tire size change

I had to add wheel spacer to passengers side as it was close.I added spacer to drivers side to balance sides. Plenty of wheel clearance. Thanks

The curbside wheelwell crowds the tire sidewall, presumably to allow more space in the wet bath. I also have 205/14s but no spacers. Have not rubbed the wheelwell despite the 5/8" side clearance. Did you put in longer wheel studs? What spacer did you use? Looks like the old Luminaire fixtures are gone. I finally replaced mine with dual domes and added flat panel LEDs last year.

I did not add wheel studs as stock studs were plenty long 1/4" 4.5-5.0 lug spacers Luminaire fix. gone dual domes installed. Good idea on Led's thanks

Nice looking trailer there! We're practically twins... What's the two shelves at the front dinette, next to the stove? I still have my stock sized 185/80/13 wheels and tires, but looking to move up to 205/75/14 when mine wear out later this year or next. I'm hoping that I can get a smoother ride over bumps since I can run the larger tire at a lower pressure.
