New Casita Owners
Hi! We are Bob and Pam Martin. We live in S of Tucson, AZ and have recently purchased our best friends' 17 SD. We full-timed for 13 years in a big rig and are looking forward to taking the new "Riglet" to all the places we couldn't go in our full-time RV. Hope to meet all of you along the way!

Welcome, Bob and Pam!
... from up in the White Mountains. If your Casita is a "Riglet," our little Scamp must be the runt of the litter!
Enjoy a new kind of travel and adventure!

Welcome to the FGRV forum family. We are in Apache Junction right next door to the "Lost Dutchman State Park". It's a great place to try out your new to you trailer, and be close to hiking trails and about 10 miles from Canyon Lake along the Apache Trail.
Happy Trails

new to you Casita
We are in our 2nd year with our 2005 Casita 16' SD and love it. You will too, but then we are used to "dancing" around in the isle. It will take some negotiating but you will get used to it, especially when it allows you to get to harder to reach gorgeous spots on your bucket list. Congrats!

Welcome Bob and Pam. I think you will find camping and traveling easier now with the Casita. Less stress towing and less time setting up. We love ours. Might want to check out the rally in Quartzsite in February. Could be the largest gathering of fiberglass trailer ever. Safe travels and happy holidays.

Welcome to the sensible way to travel. The big rigs are just to clumsy and cannot go so many places. We have a 17' Casita and love it. We also have a 21' class C motor home for longer trips like Alaska, etc. We love the Casita for going places and unhooking so we have a drive around vehicle. We can go so many places that big rigs can't. We had a 26' class A and downsized to the little rigs. We never towed a car and still don't. You will have so much fun with your little riglet.

We purchased our 2013 17' SD in August, still working out the winter camping plans. Hope to attend the Rally in February. As the say on the T-shirts.. Just Do It!
