New Egg from So Florida

Hi,

I'm Jason and my wife is Suzanne. We just got our Egg last August. We camped on the way home and one trip to a car rally on Labour day. About only thing done so far is "real" mattress from Ikea, and trinkets from Meijers (soap dish, stick on mirror, etc.).

Now we have to start going to all the local parks before moving on to other states. I hope to make the trip to Alaska some day.

Another Egg Camper owner. Good! We got ours last spring. Did you get your "stuff" from Meijers on your way home or is there Meijers in Florida? Meijers headquarters is in Grand Rapids. Started in Greenville, MI. Have TONS of fun with it.

Congratulations Jason! We've had our EggCamper for 3 years and love camping in it. If you're handy, you'll also enjoy adding mods to make it special for you. I've done several mods, including shelves and drawers, which were sorely lacking in the stock Eggcamper. But, the mattress was the first change that we made too. Fortunately the bed fits a standard full-size mattress.

We'll have our EggCamper at OSCAR SCHERER SP, near Sarasota this Sunday and Monday (2/26-27). If you're in the area stop by.

Yeah, being a mechanic I lent some opinions and help before noticing the "Hi, I am..." threads.

I'm in Jupiter (which is about 5-10 minutes from West Palm Beach). We have a house in North Port but had to move for work .

The Meijers were in Michigan and Ohio (I think, or was it Kentucky?) None down here, but I wouldn't mind seeing them move into Florida.

I'm actually grew up in California (20 minutes from Sac) and moved a couple times with work. Don't know all the state parks but there a couple guys at work who do.
