Hello!

My name is Julie and I live in Ham Lake, MN, with my husband Shaun. We have a 16' Scamp ('98?). We mostly camp at MN and WI state parks. We camp with at least 2 dogs (we have 4 but not all of them will fit in the camper since 3 of them are Danes). I'm looking forward to a nice 12 day trip starting on Thursday! Winter was way too long this year!

Welcome Julie!! I'm another Julie from Minnesota! Hope you have a wonderful trip!! Are you planning on camping at any of the MN State Parks on your trip? Hopefully the potential MN government shutdown, which could affect the state parks, won't happen on July 1st. My husband and I also enjoy camping in the state parks in MN and WI and I can't bear to think that they might be closed.

We're just staying at Perrot State Park in WI for this trip. We're planning a trip to Itasca in August so I hope it doesn't shut down!

I'm glad it won't affect this camping trip for you. Perrot is right across the river from where we live in Pickwick, MN (just south of Winona).
