New from Winnipeg

Hello,
The forums have been a great source of information, and I will certainly be requiring them as I have just this evening acquired a Boler.

The little that has been discovered thus far...

Its a '74 13 foot
Original condition, (whats left of it) the interior is in pretty rough shape
one interesting thing is that it appears to have a re-built frame. Fully boxed, no channel steal at all.

This little gem was rescued from a nice old gent who was going to carve it up and use it as an ice fishing hut!

Looking forward to chatting, and perhaps I'll get out to St Malo for some inspiration.

Welcome and congrats

Hi Glenn congrats on your purchase. Wash it up and come out to St Malo the 3rd weekend of August. You are most welcome to join us and see stock to full out custom campers on the trailer tour.

Ideally I'll start a thread dedicated to the restoration of my little rescue, but for the time being I thought I'd offer up some earl shots in my introduction so you all may see where I'm starting from. Feel free to offer any thoughts as I an afterall a

Body is in great shape, but for the dreaded door sag ( and its a biggy)
Frame is solid, interior is fair... filthy but not torn up or pulled off. Cabinet doors are all missing but I really don't see that as any major issue.
the appliances, that's another story. The fridge is gone, stove and furnace (colman) appear to be after market, and LP lines have been removed.

The one other issue that I discovered while underneath, it looks as if at some point the water tank was left full and froze. It has ruptured side to side along the back.

So there it is, guess I should get started.

What? It's not supposed to be like that?

Kidding, good catch though. the windows will almost definitely be changed out to the ones from Sunview so broken or not, they're all coming out.

Hi Glenn. Unlike Humpty Dumpty your egg can be put back together again. I will be watching your posts and let me know if I can help you out in any way. Clean it up and make it useable for the Rally in St Malo the 3rd weekend of August.

It does not need to be perfect, just make it useable and start enjoying it and work on it weekday evenings and camp on weekends.
