new guy

Kenny here from Atlanta GA. I own a 21 foot fiberglass mini bus that I've converted to a RV. Hoping to go full time within the next year.

Hello to all.... I was a boater for 15 years and have a lot of experience with living in small places, generators, inverters and solar.

Hope to make a few friends...

kenny

Welcome to the forum. You have aroused my curiosity. What sort of FG mini-bus is this? By all means, pictures please! I never knew that anyone built such a vehicle in FG, other than the Ultravan (which is already a motorhome and needs no conversion).

I can't see any photos, just little red x's. Even if I right click and choose 'show picture', nothing shows up.

Sorry Pam, this forum's methods are confusing to me. I think if you click on my name and go to my profile page you will see a pic of my coach?

Thanks, it was a commerical shuttle bus in its previous life. I've put a ton of time and money into it. Your trailer looks delightful as well

Welcome from Ontario

Kenny:

Welcome to the wonderful world of fiberglass trailers ! It's a really friendly and helpful group.

Like you, I also spent many years in boating. Many of the lessons you learned there will come in handy in this, your new hobby.

I look back fondly on my years of fiberglass repair, wiring, plumbing, finding and repairing leaks, seeking and finding more ways to stow things, and so many other things that these two lifestyles share. I know that your experiences will stand you in good stead.

Welcome Aboard !
