New Guy from SW Indiana, 69 Boler

Hi group

Just joined, Recently picked up an old Boler, needs a lot of TLC

I am just starting work on referb

*. new white & red Mag wheals and tires will arrive next week (Ordered)
* Wire brushed, sanded and painted tongue, and back bumper
*. rebuilt door hinges yesterday (whole thing will need New weatherstripping)
* Instald new bearings and baring buddies yesterday
* Purchased 2 new deepcyele marine batteries fror camper yesterday

Ordered on eBay... new LED lights for inside & Out. Will start rewiring whole trailer when Lights and some other materials arrive from eBay

Wife has pulled all cushions into her sowing room... and is starting the process of ordering new 4 inch foam and material and remaking all,

plans on using “Sunbrella” material for cushions (Soft, thick, UV resistant, H20 resistant and tough! Used extensively on sailboats for sail covers etc... expensive but will likely outlast us

In the next few weeks work on it... first chore... make front bunk deeper so I can build a drower to,hold small Porta potty (not sure how yet but? (Wife tells it MUST have!). she likes it otherwise...

I had wanted something small for travel and small enough to pull with our Ford Fusion). (like a teardrop?... she vetoed because she wanted to have room to stand, a potty, and wanted to cook inside) Oler seems to,fit the bill for both.... and I have a good Woodson and lots of time...

Welcome! You may want to also read through some of the past posts on Bolor rebuilds and work. Several have put portapotties into them, and you can see where they put them, and how they did it, as well as some rebuilds and options.

Enjoy. I hope to have my 87 Casita rebuild done before too much longer.
