Hi there!

We’ve been Escape Trailer owners for a few years now but joined this forum today after the moderator on the Escape Forum would not allow us to ask the Escape Trailer forum member any questions. Goofy I know but there must be some strange legal issues at the moment regarding the brand and the sites name. Or something????

Anyway we are Bill and Nancy and we call our Escape 21C “Side Effect”. We recently retired and just came back from a 6 week adventure through Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma.

Couldn't you even direct-message the other member? You know how? You hover the mouse over the user's screen name, a little box pops up above the cursor, and one option is "start conversation." I can't imagine why anyone would be prevented from doing that, assuming one has made at least a handful of posts on the forum (which you certainly did, and then some). Sorry you had trouble....

I didn't consider it was necessary to do so but I'm guessing the moderation team is upset about people asking questions about "Escape Trailers" on their "Escape Forum" for some strange reason.

Not sure if some comments have been deleted after the fact or not, but as the thread stands right now I only see Donna offering advice on the most effective way to get your question answered. As we can see, the Escape employee hasn't been back to read your question, because if he (or she) had returned we'd probably have an answer. The employees don't monitor the forum with any consistency. Thus, the advice was given to call them directly. That's how I read it, anyway.

I know you were going through some upsetting upheaval at about that time. I hope you're feeling a bit happier now that some days have passed.

I've emailed Escape directly but have not had any response. But having message the "Escape Forum Member" "Escape Trailers" I didn't see any reason to be sent a scolding PM for that.
