I must admit, after an 8 year stint at owning a '76 Surf Side, I finally discovered your website. Boy, I'm impressed with the quality of relationships (online) that the members have and the helpfulnees they exhibit when dealing with others,

It's nice to see fellow "surfers" on this site so, I don't feel lonely and "stupid" asking questions about our grate units. Now I finally know what they call that stuff that lines the walls and what might be used to get rid of the "crud" that coats it.

I've done only minor modifications, adding some interior 12v lights, battery, and 30gallon bottle. The window cranks are worn so it's a manual open and close and the roof vent is starting to leak. But it's done the family well for our trips for the past number of years but the boys are too big for the top bunk. Should or can I reinforce the top bunk? Doesn't the decrease or increase saleability or should one just be concerned on what works best for us and personalize the heck out of it regardless.

Anyway, I'll now be monitoriing this site and tell others I come in contact about it.

Brian

Thank you. We have tried best we can to keep this a friendly informative place, not a playroom for those that like to play games on the net at the expense of others.

Please post all the questions you want. We all learn from others here, even if it isn't us that ask.

Brian N.T.,
Glad you found us, welcome! This is a friendly, helpful group! So much so, that we even get together for rallies so we can put faces to those who post here and check out their RV's for modification ideas.
Ask away, but also be prepared to help field inquiries from others. We are all in this together!
