Hi, I've been lurking althouth I did ask about mods to grey water plumbing a while back.

Able to get a farm sitter and am going on my first voyage tomorrow in the Scamp. Gotta get across the low water concrete bridge without scrapping, then up the long, steep gravel drive way to the road, then the 4 mile washboardy gravel road to the highway. Just getting on the road should be an adventure.

Have done lots of backpacking, car camping (tenting) and spent a year touring the country in a 21 ft. RV back in the late 80's. Looking forward to getting back into camping. I live in the Missouri Ozarks so there are lots of neat places to go......all up and down and over and around.

thanks for all the helpful information I have been reading about on MLF-RV!

Hi Imogene. Safe travels... for both you and your Scamp. Please post pictures of your first voyage when you can. I'm living vicariously through others travels this time of the year.

Well, you got the Scamp from the highway to the farm, so I'm sure you can get it back to the highway again. Sounds like your farm is in the sort of location some of us like to go camping in! I've been up a few roads like that, and wondered what in the world I was thinking of! But then I was always happy with the campsites I found down those roads. Just take it s l o o w w w . . . .
