Hi all. I'm new here as well. I was very interested in a Camplite Aluminum trailer for its longevity and quality. I just learned that Livinlite just sold out to Thor Industries. We had two extraordinarily bad experiences with Thor products in the past, so now I am looking at a FBRV. My aunt has had a Scamp Fiver for years and years and she loves it. She pulls with a 2005 Tacoma.
I am looking for a trailer that sleeps 4 adults with a wet bath and front queen/full permanent bed. Love the Escape 19 or possibly the 5.0.
Any thought from owners of these rigs? Would love to hear your insights.
Lee

Darn,
You have to be registered on Escape to see the diagrams. Not fair.

Almost forgot how crow tastes. I'll get Alf to show me in a couple of weeks at the Niagara meet. My guess is that he will know the diagrams as good as the author. So, membership here does have it's privledges.
I never signed up there Donna. I didn't want to suffer with trailer envy like you.

Like Donna says, join the Escape forum to get first hand knowledge of their products. I purchased an Escape 19' last year and just sold it about 2 months ago when I ordered the new Escape 21' to be delivered in December. The one outstanding item about Escape is their ability to "Customize" the interior to just the way you want it, less time modifying and more time enjoying.

All the people with Escapes sure love them. They're obviously quality rigs.

Jim, we know you are finding it hard waiting for the hatch, guess you're not taking Alf's suggestion you come to Niagara and stay at the motel. We too have 2-foot-itis but looks like we're going the other way, two feet shorter, just 'cause we want to get a more fuel efficient tow. So I'm looking forward to seeing Jon's 17b next Sat., so we can make our decision, we'll definitely get an Escape, it's just down to which size. With the new 5.0 plans out though we may yet reconsider and go bigger again!

Hi Lee, welcome to the fold.
If you are wanting a front permanent bed, only the 21 and 5.0 offer that, though the 21 bed is not a full queen, but real close. The 19 rear bed is a full queen, as will be the upcoming revised 5.0.

Not to put the cart before the horse, but what are you planning on pulling your Escape with????? That too can have an impact on your selection.

I'd rather not be around other fg campers while I'm fighting this withdrawal disease, too temping. Mine should be hatched around Thanksgiving.

So I take it Jim that nobody took you up on your offer to do mods on their trailer if they brought it to you while you're waiting
