Hi I'm Kathy and I'm a new member. We are looking for a 5th wheel scamp to purchase. Do you or anyone you know have one for sale? We cannot aford a new new one. Thanks for your help. I can't wait to go camping!

Welcome to the forum, Kathy!

One thing to be aware of with the Scamp 5ers... Many newer trucks have tall bedrails, requiring an optional raised suspension on the Scamp. Not all used trailers will have it.

Hopefully some Scamp 19 owners can clarify this more for you and guide you to know exactly what to look for and ask as you shop for a trailer. If you post the year, make, and model of your truck and measure from the ground to the top of the pick-up bed, that would be useful data.

Thanks Jon but I think we are okay with the truck. Ours is a 2008 Chevy 2 wheel drive and my husband is planning on lowering the back of the truck.
