New member and trying to find the right trailer.
Hi I am Sal .I am new to this site trying to find more info about fiberglass trailer which I will eventually considering to buy. I am considering a Casita or Fiberstream. Any suggestion about choosing the right one will greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Standard first answer to the standard first question on this forum - which vehicle you're going to tow the trailer with? What is your budget?

Sal, after the tow vehicle (TV) question is answered, then we would need to know what amenities you "Need", like how many beds, how large or small a bed is acceptable, do you need air conditioning, shower/toilet, and how tall is the largest person trying to fit into this trailer? Next, what is you budget?

Hello Sal. Casita or Fiber Stream? That's interesting. Normally we'd hear, Casita or Scamp (or some combination of "egg" shaped trailers). The Casita and Fiber Stream are so totally different from one another. The Casita is still manufactured and thousands have been made, so you may find a used one fairly quickly and perhaps close to home. The Fiber Stream was only manufactured for 11 years and the last one was made 30 years ago. Out of our entire membership, we only have 18 Fiber Stream owners. That should tell you, Fiber Streams are few and far between.
Best of luck on your hunt!

Hi, DonnaD!
How do you know how many FiberStream people we have on FGRV?
Can you tell me how many Amerigo people we have on FGRV?
I'd love to have a list or something...!
How're you doing?
Thanks,
Kai

I just did an Advance Search on the Community. BTW: There's 161 Amerigo owners listed.

Well, DonnaD!
1. 161--nearly ten times the FiberStream owners. Not so very rare, then.
2. I don't, sleep much, either. I just force myself to stay offline until at least 4 AM. Insomnia? 2 AM is not unusual. I'll think of you tonight when I'm awake! I'm very sorry to hear it about you, though.
3. Good of Deadhead to notice that! I have a funny feeing we care about you, DonnaD!
BEST
Kai

My system says she replied at 6:22 AM, but that is our local time, and that would not be too bad. Get some sleep, Donna.
