I figured out if you see one of these trailers in good condition at a fair price you need jump on it quick. I took off at 2 am and drove 9 hours each way to finally get mine
My wife and two boys (13 and 17) have been going to National Parks

for the last 7 years. I think we are up to 23 after this summers trip (Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic). We are all looking forward to sleeping "indoors" and not on the ground for the next 23!
I plan on retiring in about 5 years and RV'ing full time. I figure it will take me about that long to get it "just right"

(little OCD here

). We plan on spending most of our time in Alaska and BC

during the spring-summer-fall, hence the
Bigfoot.
Have only owned one trailer previously, a '77 33' Silver Streak. We lived in it right after graduating from college. Our first "tiny home" together. Learned a little about fixing furnaces, hot water heaters, fridges, etc..
Spent the day taking all the "stuff" from the previous owner out of the trailer and sorting into "keep" or "pitch" piles. Exterior is weathered, interior is in great shape. First major projects are: replacing a broken window pane, interior
light rocker switch and repairing the latches on the front window cover. Eventually I'll reseal all the
windows. I'm sure this forum will help a lot with my projects. Looks like Sun-View Industries is the go-to place for
Bigfoot window parts? Sent them a request for a quote for the window pane.
Anyway, just wanted to say "hi" from a
