New member here that enjoys reading all your posts. Been looking for a Casita, or Scamp 16' project for a year. I like to rebuild stuff.
Thanks for all the information on this site!

Welcome, Bryan!

I love watching sad, neglected trailers come back to life, and I'm amazed by the skills and creativity of those who do it. When your project turns up, I hope you'll post lots of pictures.

We are in the same boat Bryan.

Taking something and restoring it back to original or building improvements is right up my alley too.

Good luck on finding the gem and have fun with the process.

We have a friend with a gutted 16' in St. James, Mo (near Rolla). It had quite a bit of dry-rot, so just took it to the body. jhaworth2011@gmail, if you are interested, I can connect the two of you.

I hope you find your Project Scamp or Casita. Many have done such. I am not that intrepid. I found a cherry of a Scamp and have taken it to the factory for significant improvements and additions.
