Hi there, allow me to introduce myself. My girlfriend and I in our mid forties from western Canada. We often take to largish trips a year to either Europe or the US. We are coming off owning a 6-1 Northern Lite coupled with 2006 Tacoma. We now have a new tacoma and would love to purchase a 17A escape. Nice to meet everyone, Thankyou.

Welcome! You've picked a pretty rare model. In that size class, most buyers want a bathroom. You might get lucky, or you might have to order a new one from the factory. Best wishes in your search!

Introduction

Hi! My wife and I just picked up a used Casita King Traveller. We had a big Coleman Niagara for about 15 years that I tried to wear out and I felt I finally succeeded. The repair list became overwhelming and a young man with cash in his pocket caught me at the right time. My wife decided a fiberglass trailer would be best and I had no counter argument anyway. Last week I almost bought a 13’ Casita in Phoenix, but halfway there the owner called me said he had just sold it, so I turned around. Lucky for me, because it was only a few days later that I was able to score on one locally.

The only off-putting thing is the carpeted interior!

Also, do people paint the exterior?

It had an awning, but now just has screw holes. I think I want an awning.
