New Mity Lite Owner

Hi All, My wife and I just bought a 1986 Mity Lite. I’m struggling to find any information on them other they were manufactured in Shelton Wa for a very short time. I’ve been told that the stove, the heater, the sink and the fridge is all original.however I don’t have a clue how to fire any of them up. Are there people in the Tacoma area who specialize in these traitors. To be honest we weren’t looking to get a trailer but traded inspection services for it and very happy I did. Would love to have some insight about the ole Mity Lite. Below are some pictures.

Hello Todd and Karen,
Welcome to the group. There are many experienced campers here who can help I’m sure. Nice trailer - IMHO - great trade

The Egg-centric Argonauts are sailing soon...

The good news is you don't have to find Mity Lite information. The appliances are all name brands, that sold to all the RV manufacturers. Just look up each individual item by the model number and brand.

The molded FG manufacturers made the frames, cabinets, and fiberglass parts, at most. The rest all came from suppliers. Many didn't even make that much. Lil Snoozy bought their shells from one supplier, bought their frames from a second supplier, and so on.

The great news to this is the brand may be long gone decades ago, but the appliance makers are still out there.

I would have someone test any propane system over 30 years old before using it, and if the bottle is original, it is way past its certification date (so it will have to be replaced).
