New mypod owner from Missouri

I have been a member off and on as I acquired and sold a variety of scamps and casitas.
Now since I have a 4 cylinder Tacoma and wanted to stay with something fiberglass I could tow easily I bought a 2016 "pod"!

No, you can't stand up in it. No it does not have a bath or stove. (All questions I have gotten on the road.

Weighs about 550 lbs and seems fairly well made.

Anyway it does what I need: a dry warm or cold (ac) place to stay and sleep. When the rv spots are full I just ask if they have a "tent" site, they usually look at the pod and say sure!

Anyway good to be back tried to add some pics sorry for the sideways view

I admire the looks of those pods. Is that a Maxx-Air vent fan I see on top? Where's the air conditioner located?

Mypod question

Yes, it is a maxi vent on top. Good for spring and fall . If you leave the screened window in the door open a little and turn it on works great! You can "dry camp" as well because it runs all night on the battery.

The ac is located in the front. I opted for a basic model with ac because you get more cabinet space. The tv and radio take up a lot of space. The ac Is almost too cold for that small a space.

If you go to Littleguy you can see the different models and interior. So far our trips have been to the ocean (Al & Fl) , some trips in MO and trips to Wi, Mi and Iowa.

Really cheap traveling and since we spend most of our time out of the camper except to sleep and in case of rain it works well for us.

cute as a bug's ear! Too small for us; I take up a lot of real estate. Be nice to have an ac and a tv, though! Meanwhile, we make do with fans and books. Lower tech.

CUTE! As A sideways Bug's Ear!
