Question New owner

Hi I just bought a scamper trailer (I think it’s a scamper) which needs a lot of work. I’m going to sand it and replace the windows and seal around the door right now. Where can I get the parts? Pictures attached. Thank you

Congratulations! I don't think it's a Scamp* or a Boler- the rear taillight housings vaguely remind me of one of the other Boler clones, but I can't remember off-hand which. With this one it's hard to be sure what's original.

Clearly you've got some work ahead of you. Replacing windows is not trivial. You'll have to take the measurements of the openings and see what you can find at local or online RV salvage yards. Finding something slightly oversized is easier than filling in fiberglass for a smaller replacement.

*Scamp makes molded fiberglass travel trailers. Skamper made conventional tent trailers, truck campers, and a few travel trailers from 1962 to 2003, when they went out of business. Thor owns the rights to the name.

It has a license plate on it, run the plate and see what it is. (Did the lil bigfoot 13' ever have square corner windows?) Wrong door hardware, wheel opening and taillight mount for it to be a Scamp or Boler. I would not spend a lot of money and work on it until you can get it registered in your name.

the Scamps and the Bolers had 3 doors in the cabinet over the sink, you have 2 doors. Look for details like that when trying to figure out what trailer you have. There are lots of youtube video tours of the interior of the different brands of trailers. Watch them for clues that are a close match to what you have. The shape and type of windows is also going to be an easy way to help eliminate various brands by comparing them to the shape of your windows.
