New owner of a much loved 1973 Love Bug

Hi I am Barb K in MN. A friend who recently aged out of camping gifted her 1973 Love Bug (TriFab Manufacturing) to me. She purchased it in 1978 and used it consistently until just a few years ago.



It arrived yesterday and although it is very clean and in mostly usable condition the interior and exterior could use some TLC.



To begin with I think I'll trek over to the state park near me and try it out. I look forward to standing on the shoulders of giants before me who have renovated an egg or two. Thanks for the warm welcome.

We have one as well! Ours needed more work than we originally thought however I am so glad to hear theres someone else that has one!

It’s nice to hear from you. Have you already worked on your LB? I’d love to know how you prioritized your projects and the challenges involved with renovating your camper. Tomorrow I’m heading to the Scamp fabricating plant in Bachus, Mn on a fact finding mission.
