New Parkliner owner! (soon)

Hi all
After an exhaustive search (by my wife) and constant lurking on this website (by me) we have decided to purchase a Parkliner. Late January the downpayment was sent and we have an expected delivery of May.
As of Saturday our intended tow vehicle, a 2008 Ford Escape died what I can only hope was a painful death (long story). We replaced the ford with a 2014 Jeep Cherokee V6 Latitude. Tow rating is 4500 lbs so no worries there.
TWO AND A HALF MONTHS TO GO! How did you survive the wait???

Congrats Sid! waiting is hard but if you are like most folks you can make the time fly by googling this site to come up with what items/makes are the best to purchase for you trailer and then do a lot of on line shopping for the best prices ;-)

BTW Costco currently has in stock camp chairs that I have found to be the best ones out of several different brands I have used/broken over the years.... weight and price is very right. Mine are currently on their 3 year of heavy use camping without issue. They are also currently offering a very poplar propane fire pit at a great price.

Thanks Carol, googling fiberglass travel trailers has become my prime hobby lately. As far as equipment goes we are pretty well stocked since we have been camping for years. Aside from the four years our son was with the 82nd the camp chairs haven't missed a summer in 30 years!

LOL your a stronger person than I! Have a hunch I would be shopping as a sparkling new trailer surely deserves some new stuff to match!

Welcome and many happy miles and memories. It's hard to believe (with over 2 feet of snow still in our woods) that our first campsite reservations of the season are just over a month away. I understand the sense of anticipation.

Man o man, that is GREAT Sid! Best of luck to ya. We also tent camped for a long time (40+ years) and are well equipped for outdoor adventure. I think the ParkLiner is a great trailer for the likes of folks like us!

114 huh? That is impressive all on its own.

Frank

WooooHoooo #114 !!

When i put "O35" on the back (above rear window) of our Parkliner it was in hopes that the first of three digits would be filled by others! Happy to hear of your triple digit parkliner coming off the assembly line.

Cheers,
Thom

All
I'm a little green at the reading of the Vin so I am unsure of my exact placement in the Parkliner family. I may just be number 14 of 2014

Tom told me that they're up to about 70 ParkLiners produced as of a few weeks ago. He suggested that 100 is sort of a major number for the company. Most people have no clue how things have changed for the better since Tom stepped in. He's a quality fellow.

Thanks all.
Frank, I couldn't agree more about Tom. Communications have been a breeze since Tom came on board. In fact I am sitting at Replacments inc. just outside of Gibsonville right now. Pick up time and walk through is scheduled for 3:00!
Chandler promised the 23rd and it appears we are on schedule. Vicki and I dropped in early for an advanced peek this morning and even after all our research I was still blown away by how spacious these little guys are inside!
Living in Minnesota and having family roots in Texas (Vicki's side) we looked long and hard at the Casita's and Scamps. Every state fair we stood in line and toured the latest models. We reviewed all the design missteps of each manufacturers (yes they all have had them) compared features and construction. For us the Parkliner was best for our needs and wants.
I think that Tom and Chandler could make a winning team and bring this little company with a quality product to the next level. I wish them all the best....they have a lot of people pulling for them.
After our shake down run I hope to post a few pics!

I am happy to report that the first and only Park Liner in Minnesota is now parked in my driveway!
We had relatively uneventful pickup and walk through. The only hiccup was the cushions weren't quite ready and had to be delivered that night to our campsite. This wasn't a big deal to us since they would have only been in the way while we found locations for all our gear. As it was they arrived just as we were finishing up.
