Excited new owners of a '98
Scamp 13 in Durango, Colorado. Avid mountain biking family of 4, graduating from a 1976 Westy. Towing it behind an '07 Odyssey for now. Seemed to do just fine on the 1,500 mile drive back from Indiana.
She is in excellent, almost like-new condition. Single owner, close family friends of ours. They took meticulous care of it and kept hand written maintenance logs and travel logs. The only two projects are both semi-major:
1. Bike rack welded to the tongue above the battery/propane tank. Two bikes.
2. Original owners didn't want the front bunk, so that space is empty. I am going to build something up there... mostly likely a bench/bed that doubles as a dinette/game table. We have zero use for a potty. I'd love to have a bunk bed, since we have two sons, but I'm not sure I know how to make that happen given the lack of wall mounts or braces.
