New Scamp Owner

Hi my name is Rob and I am a new Scamp owner who just purchased an ancient Scamp 13 which is over 30 years old.

Although the camper is a complete restoration project I am very excited to get it ready for the summer and take my wife and baby camping.

I am very glad that this forum is so active because I will probably have many questions for the Scamp experts here.

Welcome, Rob!

We always love to see old, neglected eggs get a new lease on life! There are plenty of members who've been down that road, so ask away. Best advice I've heard is not to do any more than you have to for the first season or two. Just get it roadworthy, clean, and dry.

Happy camping!

Welcome Rob!
Don't be afraid to use, and I'm sure you'll need them, the folks at Scamp. The parts folks are a cut above. Don't forget to smile while your working, enjoy your renovation.
John

How do I upload pics? Sites like these always confuse me because I use my mobile phone and it seems as if I have to upload the pics to another site, then go back and forth copying and pasting the URL for every picture onto here?
