Welcome to the group Joe. You will find many good tips here for your project. I got a new Scamp just last Spring. Changed over from Casita. I'm just West of you in ND.
I've been working on it quite a bit. I'll be starting a thread in Mods, Alterations and Updates called Renovating the Madhouse. But I'll post some pictures from the way it looked when we bought it.
It looks a bit rough around the edges Joe, but still quite workable. Similar to the '76 Trillium 1300 I will be working over right away. Lots of fun. eh?
