New To Fiberglass Trailers and the Forum

Hi All,

I recently joined the forum having bought a 2009 17' Casita SD a few weeks ago and I'm looking forward to my 1st trip out soon. I've been reading and gleaning all of the info I can regarding fiberglass trailers and specifically about Casita's from your many topics presented here on the forum.

I previously had a Teardrop camper, but found I wanted more amenities. In the teardrop it was either shinny into your pants lying down or moon your neighboring camper pulling them up outside the camper door. I liked the Casita's I saw during my 2 month southwest trip last year and after considerable research on them I knew this was the trailer I wanted. However, I have to admit at the time I bought my Casita, I knew nothing about the other fiberglass trailers I've read about on this forum. I am totally happy with my Casita though so, I'm happy I didn't have other trailers to muddle my thinking during the purchasing process.

I expect to make a 4 month trip next summer picking up where I left off last year. I'm looking forward to making some of the rallies to meet some of you folks as well.

Looking forward making new friends here and on the road.

Great forum!
