New to forum

I was referred to this forum to assist my wife and I in our quest for a newer camper. I am interested in seeing a 17 foot Casita to see if I can fit in it. I am 6'2" and being able to stand upright (mostly) in it and fit in the bed is important to me. We live in Eastern Montgomery County PA and are flexible for time. If anyone can help us please contact us.

Welcome, Walt! In these parts you are considered "height-challenged"! Best wishes in your quest. Parkliner, L'il Snoozy, and EggCamper are other makes with extra headroom and longer beds, but harder to find than Casitas.

In our Oliver Elite II there is 78 inches of headroom and our twin beds are each 76" long. If you choose the queen bed model the bed is 79 inches long.

Jon, its my understanding that Parkliner is or may be out of business. That causes me some level of concern.

Personally I would not balk at a used Parkliner, provided I could verify the issues with batteries, AC, and wheel rub had been resolved in that unit. No different than buying a legacy brand or an out-of-warranty current brand. I believe you are looking for a "newer" (i.e., gently used) trailer?

But brand new... yes, that would give me pause.
