Hi, my name is Diana and I live in southern Arizona with my dog, Arnold. I just joined today and am happy to be here.

Welcome! We’re up in the White Mountains.

With just one person and a dog, you might consider a small 13'er (cabin is 10'). Our Scamp 13 is the 4-person bunk layout, but it's also available with a bathroom instead of the extra beds.

Do you have an intended tow vehicle? These trailers are very lightweight, but perhaps not quite as light as some sellers claim. Ours weighs around 1700# loaded up. A 2000# tow rating is the bare minimum, and I'd recommend 2500# or higher for a fully optioned bath model.

Larger sizes are available more room and storage for longer trips, but a larger tow vehicle will be needed.

Best wishes in your "egg hunt"!

Funny how peak buying season for all-molded fiberglass trailers coincides with Easter... I just can't help myself. If I were a bit more tech savvy, I'd steal a rally photo and color them all!

But of course Easter is really about something far more important.
Happy Easter to all!

Thanks for the idea, but I have a St. Bernard/Great Pyrenees dog. He's sort of too big for a cozy little camper. lol

I don't know...we camped in our Casita with a 70lb lab and 80lb Aussie for years....we all loved it. We have since downsized....current pup is just a 50lb Beagle/Pitty mix.....can't imagine camping withour her. Have fun!

I’m inclined to agree, though individual dogs and their owners have varying ideas of personal space. Most molded fiberglass (egg-type) trailers are on the smaller end of the size spectrum, though there are a few larger models. What sort of trailer were you thinking?
