New to tiny camping

Hi, name here Court, and we just bought a 2004 13' Scamp.
All we were looking for was a bed and bathroom on wheels.
Ida and I are somewhat experienced campers, as we were seasonal at WA in OOB ME for 10 years.
Now mostly retired, we are looking to 'follow the 70 degrees' up and down the eastern coast.
Looking at the little scamp as a destination camper, as we will use full hookups, for water, power and waste.
Ours has the front toilet but looking to see is we can add the shower to it.
Thinking of a 2.5 to 4 gallon electric water heater for the sink and bird-bath shower.
Also looking to connect the sink (and possible shower) to a single outlet.
Looking at a 'y' type black and gay water assembly to replace the current black water valve and the gray water hose .
Ok, I've talked enough, back to exploring your excellent site.

You might want to take a look at the on demand water heaters during your search for options.

We lived with on-demand water heaters for a year in Berlin, Germany back in 1975, and I can tell you I've missed them ever since. They are much smaller than regular water heaters, faster than I thought possible, and energy-saving. They're getting more and more available now in the US and I've been thinking how much I would like one or more...a great idea.

I like the idea of the on-demand, but want to stick to electric.
On-demand electrics need more power than we have in the trailer.

Several people who have, or had, installed "on-demand" water heaters in travel trailers have had many problems with them. Apparently they don't hold up very well to the bouncing and jarring that trailers experience. It may work fine in a location that isn't subject to all that but most trailers don't sit in one place like a house.

Good points about the bouncing.

Since we don't have water lines in Peanut, but have a nice, solid 6-gallon "emergency" bottle with a sturdy carry handle and a nice spigot that so far doesn't drip, we would be installing any on-demand heaters in our house, not in Peanut. And so far, it's just one of those wish-list items for some vague future time.
