New (to us) Casita!

Thanks to all who showed us your trailers....and gave us all kinds of ideas. The Smoky Mountain/Townsend rally was a lot of fun and you all were quite kind and hospitable! We officially joined the "Egg Family" tonight, by buying a '99 Casita - a well maintained Spirit Deluxe. I'm certain we'll be leaning on many of you for advice on modifications and maintenance. This is all new to us....but we are looking forward to the adventures!

Hi: GerthT...Buying fiberglass is a decision you won't regret. Keep on top of the maintenance and you will have many years of "Adventures". BTW... there ain't no cure for the fiberglass flu!!! LoL

I also just purchased a 99 Casita Spirit Deluxe in March. Have yet to camp in it. What length did you buy?

Kevin K, it's a 17' Spirit Deluxe. Robin G, I bought it last night, a buddy of mine is going to go with me tomorrow morning to pick it up. It'll sit in my driveway for 2 weeks. Want to polish it up, learn the systems (never had one of these before!), and then take it on its maiden voyage Mothers Day weekend. Can't wait. Aside from a missing battery...and some minor cleanup, we will be ready to go soon!
