Thumbs up New Triple E Surfside owners - Let the fun begin!

Hello all,

My wife and I are the very happy new owners of a 1980 Triple E Surfside!

It is a fully functioning trailer as long as you don't want lights or water =)
The beds are in great shape and really that is the most important part to us.

I will be documenting what changes we make and try to give as much detail as to what products we went with and how successful the project was. I have already been lurking on this site for over a week now and can't thank the users enough for such an excellent resource on fiberglass trailers.

And now...the pictures! These photos are all of the trailer as is...exactly how we bought it.

First project is to remove the leaking old roof vent and install a Maxxfan (even though there is no electrical at the moment. I have ordered the Maxxfan 4000k (great reviews from other users on this site) and it should be here in a week.
MaxxFan Standard 4000K - Maxxair 00-04000K - Fans - Camping World

In that picture it really does look shiny...unfortunately in real life it is not =)

To restore the shine, we are going to go with the Zep Wet Look procedure that seems to be so popular on here. Now if I can just find some of that stuff here in Vancouver I will be set to go. No luck so far even at Home Depot.
