Hey I am Michael from Independence, MN. I have a 1974 Scamp, 13 foot. I'm planing to update and re fabricate into unique camper.

If you're new to Scamps, know that some of the cabinetry actually serves to support the roof and maintain the proper curve of the sides for, among other things, good door fit. If you're going to re-do everything, you have to incorporate adequate support in your design.

Thanks Jon! Yeah all cabinets will stay, frame and axle updates are first changes.

Yep, that’s how mine started too. You will be assimilated.

I would make sure your new axles have brakes.
